The funds have been raised to purchase these horses from their owner! The goal has been met thanks to many wonderful people both online and in our community who gave these horses a voice and helped to save them from the horrible life they were leading. The horses in question…the draft and the paint are now in the custody of Lost Fantasy! Now they can receive the necessary medical treatment they have been denied for so long and the love that they deserve. Due to major public outcry animal control has now become involved as well and hopefully the laws pertaining to equine cruelty/neglect will be enforced in this case instead of being swept under the table as most often happens in this area. If not the rescue is prepared to take this case to court to try to gain custody of the remaining horses.
